“Shabby - shabby - chic Historic Pennwells. Pros: Lots of character. Very friendly staff - but everyone is friendly in Wellsboro. Good restaurant and tavern on site. They share the same menus. The interiors of each are unique and terrific. The hotel is in the center of town and walkable to everything. Cons: old and shabby - but it's a bit cool at the same time.”

“37 Oak Ridge House located at the northern end of the Pine Creek Rail Trail in Wellsboro Junction, PA is a diamond of a bed and breakfast. The hosts, Anne and Paul, have created a new type of B&B complete with modern amenities, meticulously clean, modern rooms, bathrooms and showers, and an amazing menu that'll fill up your belly for the day. We felt welcome and relaxed thanks to the hosts. This property, and the service we enjoyed, is truly in a class of its own”
