“We have stayed at this property before while visiting our daughter at college. There are several other properties nearby and they are all what you expect from branded hotels. This property is near the sports facilities if you are there for games, could walk if you wanted, weather permitting. There is no breakfast, but there is a Perkins restaurant attached to the hotel, so you have options. My opinion would be to skip the $14 omelette there and go to the 17th Street Cafe and get a scratch made……

“ Like: Bedding was excellent-extremely comfortable. After usually long days when traveling, that's very important. Hallways very quiet. Amenities in room very good. Nice surprise of a box of welcome snacks on arrival. Soaps, shampoo, conditioner, body cream a very nice addition. Linens and towels very nice. Availability of coffee/tea etc. in the lobby very convenient. Restaurant good-waitstaff when we were there was excellent. Dislike: For whatever reason, upkeep of room is every other……

“This is a stunning resort and retreat. The property is lovingly cared for and just gorgeous with lakes, hiking trails, and a river that runs through the picturesque valley. The cabins are modern and cozy at the same time with everything you need. Including firepits and barbecue grills. Huge bonus that dogs are allowed. I even showed up after the restaurant had closed so the owners had a special dinner made for me. I can't imagine a better experience. Highly recommend! ”
