“We were going to Martha's Vineyard for a wedding. We decided to come down a day early and stay in Falmouth. The Iris looked nice online and had an indoor pool (important to my wife). The staff was very friendly, the rooms were nice, the beds were comfortable, and the lobby was impressive. The pool made my wife very happy and gym had the equipment I needed. “Location in the center of New Bedford was a plus. Free parking on the street after 9pm and all weekend. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Live music in the lobby upon arrival on Thursday night was a bonus.”

“The location was great and the room was clean and quiet. We liked the equipment in the room and the designated parking spot. Everything would be perfect if there were no smell of weed from the other room at night. It's just our preference, and we know this is a non-smoking hotel. We loved it overall and would love to stay again! ”

“Front desk was very helpful and polite. Went to room to find dirty towels in the shower floor. Shown to our second room, slept. Noticed in the morning that a bed skirt was used as a blanket in the bed making. Pointed it out to front desk and they immediately apologized, and offered a discount in our stay. Issue was definitely with house keeping. Planning to stay there as often as I'm in the area!”

“Overall stay was great. Nice to have an indoor pool and hot tub. The outside grills were converted from charcoal to gas. Very helpful. We love the Cape in the fall! Nice little get away.”

“View of the beach and ocean was excellent! Counter space in bathrooms was insufficient and too high. There was no laundry room or gym, so to call it a resort is reaching.”

“Jeanette was warm and welcoming and available when we needed info or assistance; she knows the area well. FWH was convenient to the WH Ferry located along the Shining Sea bike path, and had the amenities you'd expect at a nicer inn. Recommended!”
