“The owner and Inn Keeper are both wonderful. So accommodating and gracious. The room was lovely and they were thrilled to let our pet goat and her baby graze. The breakfast was amazing. A huge property to take care of but everything was point on. Loved it! ”

“We stayed in a tiny houss that was well equipped. Upon checking in we met Henry who works on the property. He was great, helped us get settled and answered all our questions. The site is on the Hudson and has nice views. The onsite restaurant was great too! Shout out to Rachel behind the bar and Matt our waiter.”

“This is our third time here. Owners have a good memory. They are extremely friendly and accommodating. The communication is excellent. The place is beautiful and inviting. They even had a fire pit going which was really nice! We love it here! We will be back again!”

“The Ira Allen House is an authetic traditional vintage house. It is clean & the rooms are comfortable. The owner, Mike is a great host & the breakfast is very good. If your looking for a high end hotel with all the bells & whistles, this is not your place. If you want a historic home rich in history and authentic Vermont, then you will enjoy your stay. We enjoyed our experience!”

“After scrambling to find a place to stay for the night after the weather kept us longer than planned, I’m so glad we came across this place! You will not find better or kinder service, and the view is unbeatable and all for a very reasonable price! Breakfast was also excellent, and Otis is adorable! “I stayed at the farm house for two nights. It was relaxing and quiet. The property is beautifully kept, I was upgraded to a room with a fire place and very specious, I had a small problem with noise outside my window due to rain hitting the AC, the person in charged fixed it two minutes later. The breakfast at the restaurant was fresh and delicious, overall it was a great stay and I definitely recommend it and will come back with my family. ”
