“The resort is very nice. Our cabin’s upstairs bedrooms were a little warm at night ( it was in the mid 90s on two days we were there); may require separate units for upstairs and downstairs. The kids loved the pools and fishing off the dock. We had an incident with teenagers who weren’t supposed to be at the pool. But management handled that. The restaurant/bar food was good. Overall we enjoyed our stay. ”

“The Faraway Cottage was the best find! After playing musical lodging…I found the perfect little getaway!! Quaint and charming! Coffee on the deck in the mornings…my favorite part of the day!! It was so relaxing and peaceful!! I hope to stay again!! ”

“Loved fishing from the dock, Very quiet. Glad we had a 4 wheel drive truck, treacherous roadway getting to the property and extremely steep driveway. Live and dead bugs inside the house. Musty smell when not using the portable A/C unit. Trash bin on dock completely full, plus trash in sink on the dock. I rate this property 6 out of 10. ”

“The only person we saw the only voice we heard other than ours was the yard guy. And he was super nice as well. Chelsea did a wonderful job answering any of our questions and making sure we had everything we needed. We ate every meal outside at the gazebo, and if it was dark, there was a fire. Reality quality time with my teenage girls could not have asked for better.”

“This was an awesome place to stay! Love the access to the water, also love that it had a dock and a slip for our boat! Who was also really cool is that it had kayaks, paddle boards, tubes for swimming in the water. It was a great place to stay! I will be returning!”
