“Conveniently located in downtown Sonora. Walking distance to almost about anywhere. Hotel offered a nice, simple warm breakfast. Rooms were nicely decorated. Bed was comfortable. Only downside of our room is that we were located right next to the smoking area. It wasn't horrible as not too much smoke came inside our room. ”

“Awesome comfortable place. We came in late, they were there to meet us and see if there was anything we needed. Warm on a cold Yosemite night. Dirt road off the path but was very safe. ”

“Amazing experience! Best breakfast we ever had at any hotel. Great family stay (we stayed with our kids). Hosts Rhonda and Fred are also amazing and so nice. Will come definitely back very soon! ”

“Amazing find. The cabin is updated and well taken care of. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They freshen up the room everyday and provided us with breakfast items. If I ever go back to Yosemite I will definitely stay at Basecamp again. Five stars all around! ”

What made this B&B so special was its owner/host Kim with her gracious hospitality and delicious homemade breakfasts. It’s just one block off Main Street Sonora and an easy walk to shops and restaurants. A great location for exploring beautiful N.California. ”
