“The La Fonda is a beautiful old hotel. Paying for parking in the rear was so worth it. We came and left frequently, going to historical sites and Taos Pueblo. We were able to sample some local cuisine in the hotel restaurant and the owner was very informative, telling us about the history of his people and the foods they prepare(d). “I only stayed for a day but it was a stay to remember. The check in time was later than I’m used to but you have your own parking spot reserved with your room, you walk though a beautiful garden to get to the room, we reserved the storyteller suite, so our view faces the setting sun which was gorgeous. “We had the best time at Edelweiss Lodge and Spa! We went to Taos Ski Valley to hike to Wheeler Peak. Helen took care of us the entire time, checking on us on our hike and setting up massages while we were hiking down the mountain. The only negative was there was no air conditioning so it was a little warm in our room. Helen did come through though by getting us a fan. Overall, it was an amazing stay and I would highly recommend Edelweiss!”

“Excellent stay. Due the time of year, the food options were a little limited but expected. Quiet, relaxing environment. Our condo was recently remodeled, and the owners did an amazing job. Top shelf all the way. Mitch was more than accommodating, responded to questions and concerns quickly, even with our late arrival. Would definitely stay again and recommend to my friends and family. ”
