“It's really abominable. The staff came to knock on the door at 10 in the morning and said to check the room. After a while, around 10:50, they told us to check out and said that we were smoking in the room and our child was in the room. How could it be in the room? Smoking, no extractor in the toilet, the whole room is damp and very uncomfortable!”

“Overall good. I would rate higher but for the amount I spent I’d expect more. A couple service issues that shouldn’t happen with a Hilton property or with a hotel at this price per night: 1) twice we asked to have the shampoo dispenser filled. However it never was. Not a huge issue but more of an annoyance. They also were pretty “tight” with towels. Only 1 wash cloth and it wasn’t changed out. They also didn’t change out the floor mat towel 2) bigger issue. “I stayed at this Hilton Garden Inn for my visit to Charlotte for the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow. I got my digital key before arriving, so checkin was easy. My room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very nice and welcoming. I had dinner there a couple times and had some nice conversations with some of the staff. I had a classic fish sandwich for dinner both nights. It was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel. ”

“We stayed for 2 weeks. Upon checking in our reserved room was not available. We had to stay in another room that was not the suite I reserved for the first night. We were moved the next day. We were not given the complimentary drink that is a part of being VIP Gold with hotels.com. Halfway through our stay my entry card stopped working and I got a bill indicating I had checked out. My husband’s entry key was still working. No one could tell me why it happened or why the bill was cut……
