“It is being renovated but was still a quiet area. I am sure there are some upgrades coming to rooms! Comfy bed and good light blocking curtains. ”

“This property is simple yet elegant with its warm and inviting furnishings! So much space to spread out and enjoy a cozy weekend! ”

“The facility is great, new and clean. tons of space in our room. The exercise room was top notch. The only down fall to our stay was the breakfast was terrible. And the service at keeping the breakfast stocked was poor. I would definitely stay there again but be sure to bring your own breakfast or have a plan.”

“Seriously amazing! It was a bit of a walk to the pool and to breakfast… but totally worth having the honeymoon suite in the basement! Our own personal sauna (could definitely fit 8 people in there) , jacuzzi (comfortable for tall people) and a double rain shower head (with plenty of room for two). ”

“Very friendly staff, and even called us in advance that they were working on the pool and it was out of service (which was very professional). For a busy weekend they did great. ”

“Check in was a breeze as usual. The room we got smelled really bad when we walked in but narrowed that down to something in the garbage disposal in the sink. Turned it on and the smell was gone by the time we came back from dinner. That was the only bad thing we encountered. The hot tub was great, breakfast options were slim but good. All around a great stay as always. Still our favorite go-to hotel in this city. ”

“It was perfect If I had a complaint it would be thehaving to usethe room key to use the elevator and the stairs thing but I also understand why it's that way. So it's not that major ”

“Stayed one night for visit with family. Staff was courteous and very accommodating. Room was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again!”

“The hotel was recently built (less than 5 years) and things are pretty new. It’s about 10 minutes driving distance from downtown Iowa City. There are shopping mall and tons of restaurants near the hotel. Staff are very friendly.”
