“It’s a beautiful property, and beautifully kept inside and outside. Staff was very helpful and gracious in every respect. We would stay there again if headed through Toledo. The surrounding neighborhood is away from the downtown and is pretty much commercial industrial in character, and only 1 mile from the Michigan border.”

“The staff was so amazing, friendly kind every last one of them. The hotel was clean. Everything was excellent. “So, in honesty, I booked this not knowing it was a bed and breakfast… BUT it turned out to be wonderful. It is called “The Sanctuary” for good reason. Dora and Ed are wonder hosts who definitely went above and beyond for our meager overnight stay. The room was clean, the property was so peaceful. Helped my wife and I start out with a slow relaxing morning before making our way to downtown Detroit. Can’t recommend this enough to people who don’t mind a bed and breakfast. If/when we come back to……

“My stay was very pleasant, the home was a cozy clean place. I only had just a couple of things I would suggest is that you maybe put in plug ins because the house reaked of older home smell. And to maybe add another television to one of the rooms. Other than those things. This home gave me a chance to spend time and see most of my nieces and nephews whom I hadn’t seen in 3 years or more, so I say thank you for your cozy home. My family came together to give tribute to my mother for Mother’s Day……
