“Met a friend here after I had been camping/cycling the C&O from DC. Shower was great as were the facilities. Not too many places for a decent meal in town but we made do with the gas station pizza! ”

“We very much enjoyed our stay at this cabin, especially the homey living room with the big fireplace. We also really appreciated that the dining table was large enough to seat all 7 of us comfortably, and that the beds all had nice foam mattresses on them and plenty of pillows. Beds are always a gamble in a vacation rental, but very important to a group of friends in their 30s, so we were delighted that they were comfortable, not squeaky, not wiggly, etc! “Loved the house! Smaller than what you see in the pictures presented however plenty of room for 4 to 6 people. Up on a hill so very nice view from the upper deck. Very clean and everything you could need was there. Road is a little rough when you get closer to the cabin but a car would have no problems unless there was snow..4×4 would most likely be needed. The only thing that I didn't like was there was firearm discharge nearby during the days I was there..I am an avid 2A supporter but prefer……

“This property was absolutely breath taking .From the scenery to the beautiful cabin. It was so peaceful to just sit and listen to the river all day long and then opening the sliders at night and falling a sleep to the sound. They had everything and more stocked inside the cabin. My only complaint is that we weren’t able to stay longer. Hands down best location Iv ever been to. If you are looking for a peaceful relaxing stay then this place is a must! We have already made plans to return. ”
