“The room was well appointed, very clean, with a very comfortable bed, The hosts were very thoughtful in having coffee, bottled water, iced tea, soda and juice available in the dining room 24/7. The complimentary continental breakfast was convenient and offered a wide selection of breakfast items including fruit, yogurt, muffins, toast, danish, granola with toppings, instant oatmeal and more. There was a lovely private, comfortable patio area which I definitely enjoyed.”

“Beautiful place with beautiful scenery. Everything was tidy on arrival. Loved how close we were to everything. The staff were great and helpful. Enjoyed the cute little touches. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Two small things were the faucets in the bathroom were hard for the kids to turn off and some maintenance on the building on our last day surprised us with men on the outside of the balcony 😅”

“It was such a cute condo, very homey and welcoming. I'm extremely sound sensitive and I don't know if it was because it's summer and the off season, but I couldn't hear anything at night which was great. The bed was very comfortable. Lovely community, everyone was pleasant. We will definitely come back!”

“We have stayed in lots of B&Bs, but this lodge is the most beautiful we have ever seen. It is hard to describe how amazing it is and everything was just perfect. We loved staying here. The manager, Bobbie, was just so wonderful and we enjoyed talking with her, and her recommendations for places to visit were great. We felt at home here, and would very highly recommend staying here. “Good communication in advance. Cabin is steps away from the Linville River. Large field near cabin great for frisbee or playing catch with baseball gloves. About 15 minutes from a decent-sized grocery store.”
