“Great place, lots of personality. However, some of the rooms are only accessible via a stairwell. We are not disabled in anyway, but lugging three suitcases up and down stairs is not fun. Just a heads up to others, ask ahead if the room you are getting has elevator access.”

“The rooms were very nice and clean. Very spacious. Really enjoyed being able to bring a pet. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The location felt very safe. The breakfast there is very good. We really enjoyed the waffle station. The breakfast staff wasn’t as friendly though nor was the housekeeping staff. The hot tub was warm and there was so much chlorine in it that it stung our eyes. The tiles were also very slippery. The pool was very clean though. ”

“My wife and I stayed here for two nights while visiting our daughter who is in college in Tacoma. What a lovely cottage! Conveniently located to walk down the hill to the shoreline and coffeeshops. Communication with the owners was clear and great. We look forward to staying here again on future visits.”

“We booked this property while taking a trip to the west side to visit family. We originally chose it because it was close to the zoo. The fact that it’s a completely remodeled, period style home was a quirky bonus, until we got there. Every detail was perfect, from the furniture down to music playing when we walked in. We’re already planning our next visit, but without the kids next time. ”

“Dont stay here! The place is nice inside, but if you want to sleep, dont stay here. Train tracks are a block away and blare their horns all night long. There were 3 trains alone from 1-1:30am. I asked to cancel my second night stay and get a refund due to the fact that this noise issue is not disclosed in the posting. The management company, Evolve, has been extremely dismissive and will only give me a refund worth 1/4 of the daily total, even though I gave notice, asked for a refund, and……
