“As others have said, we had a great stay at Frederick House. We stayed in Bowers 21 for two nights. The room with a comfortable king size bed exceeded our expectations, with a private balcony great for sitting out on and enjoying the beautiful weather we had. The room was better than the photos. Friendly owners and staff offered suggestions of where to go and places to eat. We enjoyed the wineries they recommended and the restaurants they suggested. An overall pleasant stay. ”

“Checkin was easy. Snacks and kitchen area were nice. Nice touches like white noise machine, eye masks, etc were a really unexpected and nice touch. Our room was a bit cramped, and it would’ve been nice to have some plates and cutlery in the kitchen. The microwave was way too loud too. We felt like we were disturbing everyone, every time we used it. ”

It was such a joy to come back to a house that felt as if we were visiting our favorite aunt and uncles, as well as cousins house, one of those places that your excited to get to. “I did enjoy my stay here. If you can find it in your heart to overlook the very scary driveway that gets you to the property, you will enjoy it, too. The room was clean. The owners were nice. It is a very relaxing place to spend the night. You have to enjoy the rustic setting, though: squeaky wood floors and the old cabin smell. Also, no TV or WiFi. I would go back again, though.”
