“We had a great stay at 1000 Islands Harbor Hotel. The building is beautifully maintained. It is conveniently located near all the sites we visited while in the area. It's located on the Saint Lawrence with great views and immediate access to the riverfront walk and downtown Clayton. We would stay here again.”

“This hotel and the grounds were very clean and welcoming. The employees from the Front desk, to restaurant, to housekeeping were all very friendly. We dined in restaurant 3 meals. (2 breakfasts and 1 dinner.) There were 4 of us , each ordering something different. We were all very full and satisfied. Because we're all retired we take short overnight or 2-3 day getaways. What a surprise to come back to our room after a day sight-seeing and find housekeeping had replenished our towels……

“Well maintained motel in attractive location opposite Boldt Castle in Lake Ontario. Nice big outdoor pool. Can walk to the restaurants of Alexandria Bay. Be aware that they sometimes have motorcycle groups staying there ( noisy engines). Easy access to Canada via nearby 24/7 border crossing.”

“Cute little cabin that had a lot of amenities available. Local grocery is only a few minutes away. Problems: beds are hard, the main „queen“ bed is two twins pushed together but the seam isn‘t connected so we kept falling through the middle and it was too small. ‚Would’ve chosen something else had I known. Fan in living room didn‘t work, someone removed the chain and still couldn‘t get it to turn on. Very hot during the summer. There are a few restaurants nearby within walking, be sure to check……
