“The Outpost Inn was such a wonderful stay in Highlands! Our room was darling, well appointed with a little sitting area, fireplace and record player including some throw back records that put us in the mood. Bed/bedding was great, good shower pressure and products. Each afternoon we would hang out in the common spaces and firepits and enjoy a glass of wine, 'smores and meeting other travelers. “Our room was very comfortable and check-in was so easy. The property outside is beautiful and there was lots of room for our dogs to roam around. Breakfast was really good, there are a large number of choices and freshly made eggs, made however you like. ”

“We had a beautiful suite, very comfortable bed, recently updated, very quiet beautiful setting from our balcony, in our suite we could hear our neighbors like they were in our kitchen. We were disappointed that the pools , lake, mini golf and all other outside amenities are back in town where you check in. But we loved our suite and would stay there again.”

“The whole stay was splendid. Paul is a wonderful host, a phenomenal cook, and a kind person. Our room was beautifully decorated, and the shower was a huge bonus to me. I love a piping hot shower, and detachable faucet so that I don’t have to get my hair wet or humid. Hardly any place has that! Our room did! The house has an interesting history, and I love the fragrance as you walk in. Like years of good breakfasts with bacon and coffee, nice furniture polish and books. It will be our go-to place……
