“At arrival confusion prevailed. Not only had we already paid online through VRBO but also had to pay again upon arriving. Host had not received anything in account from VRBO, Host assured there would be a reimbursement, but there appeared to be a disconnect between lodge and VRBO. Actions are still pending. Room was cold until space and wall heaters were turned on. Slight leak under front of toilet. Room was rustic and comfortable. Location to fishing on Kasilof River is extremely good.”

“We really enjoyed our stay and will plan to stay again in the future. The host, Rebecca, was wonderful and gracious; made us feel right at home. The breakfasts she prepared were delicious. She gave us great information and helped us plan our touring. The property is in a rural area. There are 4 bedrooms in the house with a shared bathroom. We were the only ones staying at the time. She has a lot of projects in process so there are minor parts of the house that are under construction but that……

“The beds were uncomfortable and felt worn. The water tasted like rusted metal pipes. They did not have a mini fridge, microwave or even a single cup coffee maker. They listed it have tv but only had 2 channels. The room had lots of bugs not bed bugs but insects.”
