“The Gut Stiluppe just finished its renovation, and while the new parts look stunning, the upgrade has yet to proliferate to all parts of the place activity. Specifically, it feels the kitchen needs to really improve - morning eggs arrived at odd shapes (like scrambled eggs that weren’t scrambled before fried), and coffee with regular milk after we explained of a lactose intolerance. I think it will take a bit more time until the service gets to the level of facilities.”

“The hotel is a nice mix of modern and traditional. Spa was lovely and the reason that we booked the hotel. We booked with half board and had dinner every evening. The food was mainly very good with salad bar as a starter and then multiple courses. Some notable issues were that the hotel charges for tap water at dinner, which I understand can be a thing in Austria however it seems very unfair to neither show the prices of soft drinks or water on a menu and then charge €3 for tap water and an eye……

“Great valley location, great food, sauna with a view. Wonderful hotel. No Tyrol vibe though (upscale pricing changes the atmosphere). Dining experience: This hotel has about 4 or 5 dining rooms. Was seated as the only person in one room. Multiple requests for a seating change without result. I actually believe the waitress gave a f*. Went to talk to receptionist, e voila, got a decent table. Somebody also put an extra drink from the bar on my room number. Ok. ”

“Tolle Unterkunft! Sehr sauber und toller Service. Unser Zimmer im obersten Stockwerk war besser schallisoliert als die meisten Unterkünfte. Man hört die Zimmernachbarn zwar, aber nur gedämpft. Der Saunabereich ist überschaubar, aber vollkommen ausreichend. Das Frühstück ist ebenfalls überschaubar, aber dafür sehr lecker, frisch und es wird sehr schnell nachgefüllt. Besonders empfehlenswert fanden wir das dortige Restaurant. Die Portionen waren sehr groß und die Preise fair. Das Essen allgemein……
