“The house is just minutes from the beach. Even in early August the beach is not crowded. Water temperatures were around 16 C. The beach gets windy in the afternoon when kite surfers start. There are life guards which adds extra safety. The little town is cute with restaurants, beach cafes and a little grocery store. A train to Porto runs a few times a day. The house itself has some charming aspects such as the ocean view and the hardwood floor. The kitchen has a lot of useful things.……

“Das Haus liegt in einem Dorf (Santa Maria de Geraz de Lima) zwischen Viana do Castelo und Ponte de Lima. Um die Ecke gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt. In fußläufiger Entfernung befindet sich auch ein Café mit frischen Backwaren. Der Dorfmetzger ist ca. 800m entfernt. Das Haus verfügt über vier Schlafzimmer, die auf zwei Etagen liegen. Die Küche ist groß und gut ausgestattet (Gasherd). Im Garten, der sehr gepflegt ist, gibt es einen gemauerten Holzkohlegrill und einen umzäunten Pool. Der Standort……

“This is a very nice apartment in central Viana do Castelo, an excellent location. The large apartment I was in was spacious and clean, although I wish it had a work desk and a comfortable chair. My biggest frustration was the poor communication with the property before checking in. I didn't receive any info on how to get the keys, which you have to retrieve from a nearby underground parking garage lockbox. I contacted Expedia the day before and their bot/AI customer service was no help, as was……

“Haus und Garten sind wunderschön und haben viel Charme. Wir haben immer abends im überdachten Grillbereich draußen gegessen. Die Lage bietet einen guten Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die umliegenden Städte und natürlich zum Strand. Einziger Minuspunkt war für uns, das ein Schlafzimmer ein Durchgangszimmer ist. Dies hatten wir überlesen. Alles in allem ein wunderschöner Urlaub. Vielen Dank”
