The room was very clean ,I stayed 4 days and there was the option of having the room cleaned every day if I wanted .The staff were friendly.also it was quite and I felt safe . The hotel is also very near the town and the beach .I would definitely stay again .

Centrally located, spacious superior room, communication not good from reception or any information in the room. Didn't tell us bar closed at 21.00, asked, they said dependant on season. Asked about did they lock doors at night what time, we were told depends who the night porter was, although back door should be open. Breakfast was average, limited choice.

We had arranged a late check in and although we reveived a call advising room number, on arrival we went to room on 3rd floor -only to find key didn't fit. It was infact on the ground floor. What can I say the room we had booked boasted a king bed. In fact it was two single beds pushed together that drifted apart when you lay on it. When questioned the owner/manager was rude and aggressive and said it could not be parting as it was a “zip and lock bed.” I checked and it was 2 single beds pushed together that were not secured by any zips or locks! We were allocated a different room that had no wardrobe and the fumes from freshly applied gloss paint was so overwhelming that within 10 minutes my eyes were streaming and I had a headache. Again the owner/ manager was rude and said we were more than welcome to move out. All other hotels were fully booked otherwise we would’ve vacated there and then. Eventually a third room was found for us which was adequate by that time we just wanted to unpack and enjoy our stay in Aberystwyth. We were not offered any refund in fact we were not even offered a complimentary drink from the bar for the inconvenience of having to change rooms 3 times! I will definitely not be recommending this hotel the service was shocking I have never been spoken to so rudely by anyone. I had to question why all the other hotels in the area were full yet we were able to change room three times. I now know why.

Comfortable, cosy and welcoming

The lady who checked us in was so lovely. We had a warm welcome and the room was cosy and lovely and warm. The bed was so comfortable and we had everything we needed. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and the staff were very attentive. The dog was very welcome and he really enjoyed the stay too. I would highly recommend and we will be back soon.

Hotel is great, some issues like the tv above the spa bath wasn't working, and the coffee maker didn't have coffee. But it didn't spoil our stay. Will definitely use again.

Location is excellent, very close to the seafront. Breakfast was great, staff very friendly and helpful. Room was fine, had everything you need as a base for your visit. Very good price for B&B.

Both rooms were immaculately clean. The first room had a lovely big bath and the second a spacious shower. Beds were very comfortable. The location is perfect for the town and the seafront. Parking is non existent, pot luck if you can find something outside or a near by street. Didn’t feel a warm welcome from staff like others have felt, breakfast on the second morning was disappointing and staff were not friendly nor attentive.
