I paid $197 for one night in a room with 1 king and one queen. The room was okay..nothing fancy but i guess what really got me was the breakfast. For a hotel in the heart of Texas, called BIG COUNTRY, i was expecting sausage and gravy, texas shaped waffles...stuff like that. Other then that everything was okay. I was just expecting a little more from the breakfast with the cost of the room and with a name like BIG COUNTRY.

The staff were great! The property is a little outdated you can tell they remodeled and paint job is not great. But beds were comfy and clean. Get to breakfast early because they ran out of sausage by the time I got there.

I chose this hotel partly because it had a breakfast. Friday morning the dining room was crowded with lots of people that I don't think were staying there and there was no food left. On Saturday I got down there before 8:30 and again -- no eggs or sausage left and the help will not put out more.

The bed was super comfortable & the staff were very nice too. Sadly though I could hear the shower in the next room and certain louder cars driving by at night as well. The staff was great and the hotel was clean. My only dissatisfaction was the tv had no signal and door malfunctioned when opening/closing. Your property resched out via text to inquired if we had issues. I submitted my feedback for someone to rectify it. I never received a reply not assistance. I did reported this to the front desk and a work order ticket was submitted. I do hope it gets rectified.

I have made a reservation for this property via Expedia that I needed to move one night up. Mid week, hotel half empty. The hotel front desk refused to accommodate my travel date change both in person as well as through Expedia customer service desk and is trying to keep the money that I paid for both nights. This hotel is happy to take your money for service they did not provide, despite the fact that we actually did stay with them. They are in business to provide travel service with no regard for unforced travel plan changes and do not value you. Stay away & choose a property that understands the word hospitality.

Unfortunately, we did not get to stay there due to a “ plumbing issue“. We were notified. By Expedia two hours after the issue had occurred knowing that I had just spoken to someone not long before that to confirm our reservation they did not seem to want to help.
