About this space
If you want a good night sleep away from the noises of traffic and the city; if you want to soak in a nice deep tub before bed; if you want to see the stars at night and the sunset in the evening, we have the places for you. Let us pamper you with country.
Our places are located down a farm road. We are 2.7 miles NW of Abilene, close & easy access to Dyess AFB, I-20, Hwy 277 and Hwy 83/84, navigating to anywhere in Abilene is very easy. We welcome people of all backgrounds on our farm.
The space
The cottage is charming and private, with a porch facing on the opposite side as the Farmhouse. Outdoor table and chairs make drinking coffee in the morning so enjoyable. The Keurig makes coffee almost instantly available. The inside of the cottage is very clean and comfortable. There are two bedrooms with queen beds that allow our guests a good night sleep.
The bathroom is updated with a nice deep tub to soak away the stresses of the day. It also has two sinks, for the convenience of getting ready separately. I provide goat milk soap for a luxurious bathing experience.
Everything about this cottage is designed and works to provide a secluded, quiet and restful stay.
Guest access
We have added outdoor furniture, a fire pit and gas grill to make the cottage an even nicer place to stay. The evenings are lovely on the farm. The dove, quail and roadrunners are fun to watch. Sunsets and sunrises are almost always beautiful. And the stars are bright at night.
Other things to note
We are almost 3 miles outside of the city limit. Guests might find it helpful to shop for snacks or groceries before coming to the cottage. We have a fully stocked kitchen in the way of pans, dishes, silverware and coffee maker. The distance seems further later at night and when you are tired. There are grocery stores nearby and close to I-20 (Walmart Neighborhood on Ambler and Grape, United on Ambler and Pine).
If the cottage is full, please look for Lazy Acres Mobile Home.
