“My friend and I needed a base camp for a fishing trip on the Trinity River and a nice place to cook a nice dinner and relax at the end of the day. We were within 10 to 30 minutes of all the boat launches where we meet our guides, and came back to a well equipped kitchen and charcoal grill to prepare a nice fresh fish dinner. We’d sit on the dock dunking worms to end each evening. We will be back!”

“We were under a boil water notice. I had to text the owner or manager about that to be sure. They didn’t know so we had to go out and buy more water to be able to cook with it. The place itself was ok. There were definite areas that the house needed repairs as some tiles were loose on the floor. The ladder on the boat house was broken and couldn’t be used. The AC had to stay at 72 and for East Texas during the day that was on the warm side. The view of the lake was very nice and that made up for……
