“It was a nice place only problem is that there is not a lot to do.but we came to go to Bilbao for rhe football cup final. So it was good for us. Need a taxi in the village to get you to the train station. ”

“Excellent small hotel and restaurant/bar. Rooms are large and really well designed in a historic building. We had the room with a kitchen and it had really good cooking extract piped to the outside. This might sound trivial but you will never forget the night you cooked in the same room as you sleep when there is no extract. ”

“This cottage is actually newly built, very clean, modern design and well-stocked. I found it to be a great location to visit many places in the Basque region ranging from coast to city to mountains. It was nice not to have to drive out and back in to a city every day. I would stay here again. ”

“Un super sejour au calme dans la magnifique propriété d'Alex et Xavi. Le lieu et le jardin sont magnifiques et super bien équipés. On peut se faire du café a la réception, il y a même un distributeur de boissons et nourriture pour depanner. Super piscine C'est vraiment un endroit agreable pour se poser quelques jours.”

“This was a great find in a wonderful small town just outside Bilbao. The hosts couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming. The place was very comfortable with a very quick walk into the town, with easy parking, and quick access to nearby buses and trains into Bilbao. Would recommend. ”

“We had a lovely time in Otxandio / The Basque experience house. The house is nice and cool when the weather is hot, it is very spacious. Lovely kitchen. Nice beds/ good matrasses. It is well located. Swimming in the nearby lake was very refreshing. ”

“There were many things we liked. First of all the view of the mountains, which changed many times during the day. Then of course the horses, which announced themselves by the bell of their chief. The horses were fond of pears and came by several times a day, to check if any pears had fallen down from the trees. Some of them even succeeded in shaking the trees, to make the pears fall. Clever animals. Other animals we liked were the four donkeys, a little bit down the road. One of them had such……

“Our family stayed in the house for a couple of days and were really made to feel at home by Javier and Estíbaliz who prepared us a home cooked meal for our arrival (delicious croquetas and tortilla) as we were arriving late. The views were fantastic and the kids really enjoyed pool and pool table! Would highly recommend.”
