“My husband and I were traveling with our daughter and son-in-law and only stayed only one night due to availability! The location is situated over the Atlantic with pretty views and sheep and goats just down the hill!Its location is close to Cahersiveen, Waterville and Derrynane!The cottage was well equipped! The beds were very comfortable and plenty of living space for all to enjoy!It was raining when we arrived and there was a load of wet laundry in the wash! Didn’t see a dryer so tried to dry……

“Our family, spanning ages 2 to 65, stayed at Shelburne Lodge for a week and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm welcome from Victoria, the host. She met us at the lodge, gave us a full tour, and was always quick to respond to any questions we had throughout our stay.The lodge itself was perfect for a large family. “We enjoyed the Little Nest. Perfect for four adults (with room for more). Easy walk into Kenmare for restaurants, pubs and history, plus easy access to a day or two spent exploring the Ring of Kerry. “This country estate lived up to the photos, and then some. It's on a large piece of property at the end of a long driveway, and feels very secluded. The drive into town was very quick, about 5 minutes as advertised. The house and grounds are very well cared for. There are several huge hydrangea bushes on the property that were in full bloom when we were there (mid-July) that we enjoyed a lot. The three bedrooms were ample for us. The kitchen was well-stocked with all we needed.”
