“This home is at the very top of a mountain with scenic views all around. If you are willing to drive, you can visit many surrounding Italian mountain towns full of beauty and history. The people of the town two were friendly and welcoming. One thing to be aware of is there isn’t anywhere to eat so be prepared to travel to a surrounding location for dinner. The hostess, Valentina, was so helpful and always available--she even scheduled a tour in English for us at the Marinelli Bell Foundry. The views from our room were amazing! Be prepared to walk uphill on old Roman streets, some cobblestone. The local residents were all friendly and helpful, especially the Town Hall staff helping us with geneology……
