“If you don’t expect the Ritz after paying YMCA prices and judge this place on what you paid, then I couldn’t not give it 5 stars. Check in was easy, the room wasn’t the biggest but it had a large, clean and comfortable bed. The en suite was small but functional and without issue. Parking was free, always a bonus, and it had air conditioning, which was a godsend. I’ve stayed at much more expensive hotels this trip that didn’t. My only moan is why provide a coffee machine but no pods or even……

“Nous y avons très bien dormi. La chambre et les draps étaient très propres. Les toilettes et la douche à l' étage aussi. Nous étions très contents. Le service était également très bien. Les chambres, toilettes et douches ont été bien rénovées. ”

“Hotel's location is perfect for walking access to key sites, like Place Stanislas, or to bus stops to get to places further away. Our room was a good size, except for the bathroom, which was pretty small. The EU17 breakfast is a bit steep in price, but you're paying for convenience not just the great food. Nancy itself could produce a smaller, more helpful tourist guide in English. Warning: No elevator, but the stairs are wide and gentle.”

“Everything in our room that could break was broken, including the shower door, towel rack, kettle, and window latches. Even the cups were chipped, and one of the entrance keys we were given didn't work. Even though we were in a double room, we had to request a second towel on 2/3 days we stayed there. The street in front of this hotel is under major construction, so it is very noisy from dawn 'til dusk and the sidewalk is always difficult to negotiate. The hotel is above a fast-food outlet……
