Well appointed with all the 'mod cons' yet affordable rates to make your holiday all that more enjoyable. Great property in a great position.

Lovely location, property could use some love

This property is in a great location, walking distance to the beach and lighthouse. However, on our arrival, it was dark and dusty. 2 of the main globes in the living area / kitchen were not working. Thankfully, we found some spare globes in cupboard and replaced these. More lights in the bedrooms had simply been left without globes. The provisions were meagre - no teabags, just two coffee pods and some instant coffee. The whole place could use a good clean and tidy and the carpets a thorough steam clean. There is way too much outdoor furniture for which the cushions are stored in the living area. The property listing is not sufficiently detailed. It says 'no linen' but this means different things in different places. We arrived to find there was not even one tea towel in sight. However, on the positive, the listing did not mention a dryer, but there was one in the house. The listing states that there is a 'Smart TV' but does not specify that there is no WIFI which is an important piece of information that mosts guests need to know in advance. The real estate agents who manage the property were quite slow to respond on some occasions.
