“Great place to stay to visit Harmandir Sahib Golden Temple. It's right in the center of the action of Heritage Street right near the Maharaja Ranjit Singh statue and Jallianwalla Bagh Park. The soundproofing is excellent to get a good night's sleep, because Heritage St is extremely busy all day and almost all night. The room wasn't super clean and had exposed wiring in the bathroom, but for the price, it was fine. We had great hot water. The staff is excellent and listened to our requests and……

“Amazing staff, accommodated our needs immediately. Check in and check out services were smooth. Breakfast option is really good and staff upstairs is helpful. Offered cleaning services daily. Tipping culture is aggressive, as a visitor we should not feel obligated to tip, nor should we be asked to tip more. ”

“Difficult to communicate with staff when only one member could speak english so had to wait until she was on duty to sort things out. Booking included a full continental breakfast this came down to two slices of toast and a cup of tea. Had a tv in room which did not work until late on day 2 of a 3 day stay. Room had aircon but took 2 days to find out it was controlled from reception so was set at 33 c for 2 days. In the bathroom there was a strong smell of drains also the shower heads were……

“Incredibly helpful staff, especially Vicky who personally helped us get an Indian SIM card (trust me it's quite a hassle in India) and dropped us off at the airport. His tuk-tuk tour to the Wagah border is incredible, and honestly he was more entertaining than the ceremony itself. “Golden lagoon is very close to the Golden Temple (Darbar Sahib). Staff is friendly and professional. My flight was very late and they were able to accommodate me by giving me a room for a shorter period after normal check out for a reasonable price. Rooms are on the slightly smaller size but sufficient and clean. Kettle, mini fridge, TV, hot water etc all provided. Rooms were clean.
