“We had the best time at this cabin. Dan and his brother really did a great job with the new addition! One of the best parts about this place was the screened in portion of the deck. We had some crummy weather this past week and we still got to be outside and enjoy the day even though it was raining! They do spray for mosquitoes and that really cut down on the amount of bugs around. It was noticeable how absent they were at times! The multiple refrigerators in the house was super nice! “My husband and I along with our two boys (ages 16 and 14) stayed at Sandy Pines for three nights. The boys enjoyed fishing on the lake (we brought our own boat). Our boys also took the kayaks out and fished some on their own. The view from the deck was a perfect spot to sit and drink your coffee in the morning. “What a cozy, great place to stay. This was super close to where our family was staying. Wonderful to sit on little porch under overhang and enjoy the falling rain. Everything was there that was needed. Even chairs for the deck. All bedding was there. Beds were comfortable. And Lana (owner) messaged prior to our stay and for every question after she was immediately available. We felt safe and well taken care of.”

“My family and I had a wonderful week long stay, the house was spacious, clean and inviting. We thoroughly enjoyed fishing, kayaking, boating, swimming, paddle boarding and floating on Lake Pickerel, along with great bonfires and making s’mores in the evening with a beautiful view of the lake. Being able to use all the paddle boards and Kayaks was amazing and so fun!! We rented their pontoon and had many hours of enjoyment fishing from it as well as swimming in the middle of the lake.
