“Everything about our stay was astounding. Waking up to the sounds of elk bugeling in the distance, to having NFS land right in the backyard - truly a "getaway in the hills". Super easy access to local trails, and Lead/Deadwood is only 15 minutes away. The pet friendliness is an absolute big bonus, and the hosts and property went above and beyond to ensure their comforts as well.”

“The property is beautiful and the cottages are well appointed and clean. The only downfall is the cottages don't have their own bathrooms. It would not prevent me from staying there again though. The bathhouse was very clean, good water pressure.”

I think the only issue we had from the 20's aged family members is the internet access is nearly zero. The over 30 aged people we're just fine with it!”

“I booked a visit to Kara Creek Ranch in an effort to escape the Denver area fireworks with my pup (he's super fearful). Cassie promptly responded to all of my questions before arriving and provided all of the info that I needed to check-in. The property is very remote and quite beautiful - vast open space as far as the eye can see! Everyone on site was incredible - from staff to other guests. “Fantastic view, very quiet and secluded. Saw deer and turkeys! If you stay in the winter, make sure you have good tires and 4WD or AWD, as the road up can get dicey. House itself is huge, clean, warm with lots of windows and a huge porch. Would definitely recommend staying there with your family. ”
