“We came during the off season (January) and the house was perfect for our stay. Clean, cute and nice/new appliances. Having the garage to park in was a nice bonus. The floors in the house are concrete, so bring slippers or house shoes. ”

“Well maintained property, well appointed. Gracious space from people-y places. We already miss the patio and surrounding native plants and birds! Close enough to Exit Glacier and Seward for whatever day trip you might plan and still kick your feet up at night! ”

“Clean and quiet. Didn't hear a sound all night. Central location for shopping and restaurants. We would have liked local TV channels but they are not available. We would stay here again.”

“My wife and I came down from the valley to get away to the Alyeska Nordic Spa. I wanted something outside of Alyeska and found the Carriage house to be the perfect place! It was perfect to include the added hot tub. The house rules were clear and easily explained. The heated floors were a really nice touch as well. We will be back for our next get-away. :-) Thank you for your hospitality ”

“We had a nice stay overnight. The cabin is nicely updated and had warm heaters in both bedrooms keeping it as cozy as you wanted it. The short walk to the inlet bay to see the sunrise was amazing! Highly recommend getting up early to view it. Thanks for the complimentary coffee/hot cocoa and tea in the cupboard!”

“It’s a cute cabin with all of the basics that you need. A light on the twin side of the living room would be great. The main bed is basically a trampoline and also very creaky. The kitchen is nice though! We did have an issue with the driveway not being plowed so we had to park in the middle of the road and hike through a foot of snow to get to the door. The host did make it right after I reached out, but we had very cold feet for a while, as we weren’t prepared to walk in that much snow.……

“The property was close to many amenities(good restaurants, coffee shop) a short walk away but the property itself was in a fairly run down part of town. I think a new coat of paint and some deep cleaning on the heating unit would really freshen the place up. There was a nice supply of kitchen essentials and the best quality paper towel and toilet paper. It was a very good price for what it was but we didn't love it.”
