“This was our first time in Hocking Hills, and this property was the absolute perfect place to stay for it. Wonderful location where you have your own small slice of nature, but close enough to town to not be a hassle. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need, the hot tub was amazing, and it was very cozy. Definitely plan to be back!”

“Stayed here for our trip to Hocking Hills. Close to everything you want to see! We went to Cantwell Cliffs, Old Man’s Cave, Ash Falls. And this was a great place to come back to! Hot tub was perfect, we had no problems so no reason to communicate with the property manager. I actually preferred bringing our own sheets/blankets/pillows. We did forget towels but made a quick trip to Walmart. Would definitely stay here again if we took another trip that way!”

“I want to clarify that we did not end up staying in The Retreat due to some malfunctions in the bathroom and the hot tub. Mallory the owner was able to move us to another location with no other cost. We ended up in the Lyric cabin. Our stay was FANTASTIC! Lots of space for multiple families and friends. We definitely will be looking at a return visit to the Lyric in the future. Hopefully for those looking at the Retreat. The necessary repairs will be complete. ”

“Cute cabin tucked in the woods with lots of privacy. Beds are comfortable with lots of blankets and pillows. The hot tub wasn't the clearest, but it didn't stop us from enjoying it. The kitchen could use a little love, no potato peeler or large pot. I'm not sure if the fireplace works. We couldn't figure it out and reached out to the owner, who responded, but no one ever showed or followed up to assist. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience. ”
