“This was my family’s first VRBO stay and if the majority of owners are like this one, I don’t know how hotels are still in business. -Description was spot on, including where the local convienience store was if you needed dry wood-communication with the owner was above bar. She had a wealth of knowledge and was willing to share. We plan on making many more trips to Cumberland, and when we go. We already know where we will book our stay.”

“Overall we had an incredible stay. The location is gorgeous, views are awesome, master bed was incredibly comfortable. They provided some nice touches that we appreciated, like pods for the keurig, multiple types of hand soaps, plenty of towels. The only reason I am not giving this property five stars is because we noticed a few little cleaning touches that were missed, including old beer cans on the back deck and what appeared to be some dead bugs in the bathroom light. “We stayed here for a fishing tournament. The house was very clean and the hosts quickly communicated when we inquired about adding an additional night. We would definitely stay here again on future Lake Cumberland trips!”

“We enjoyed our stay in this very clean and up-to-date cottage!! The outside porch was not very clean but liked having the gate so our small dog could enjoy it with us while we had our morning coffee!! Found it extremely difficult to get our pontoon in to unload!! Gates are not wide enough to manage getting boats in and out easily! ”

“The rental house was very clean and decor was updated. My adult daughters and myself enjoyed our stay at this property. The owner was very responsive to questions. Even though it’s 23 minutes from Sunset Marina, we discovered a boat ramp and swimming area on Dale Hollow Lake down the street from the house that was secluded and private. To improve our stay I recommend owner upgrade the two primary bedroom mattresses with box springs and hotel quality mattresses that have inner coil with memory……

“We had a very nice time with our family at the cabin. There was plenty of room and beds for our group of 10. There are two things we wish could have been different: 1. The cabin was not super clean. It wasn't dirty, but the cabinets and fridge needed a thorough wipe down (crumbs and some spillage). The windowsills had not been cleaned either - lots of bugs and dirt/dust.
