“Perfect size and location for visiting friends and family. The view of the valley is delightful. The unit is attached to the main house but has its own entrance. Clean and comfortable, the room was a bit like a private hotel room in the country. It's a short drive to Verona, Mt. Horeb or to Madison. I brought my dog, who loved the large yard and visiting the nearby dog park. ”

It was a short drive to the Capital and the good vibes of that area, especially Saturday's Farmers' Market. It was great to retreat back to the serenity of the lake house and the neighborhood. I've never spent so much time at "the house", but on this trip we made it our intention to take it slow. What a wonderful property to do so!”

“This rental made for the perfect group weekend getaway. From the great shuffleboard table to the vintage arcade games like NBA Jam, this place was on fire! The beautiful view of the wide river from the hot tub was so tranquil a member of our group asked what lake we were on. It’s the perfect distance from Madison and Chicago that you feel like you’ve truly gotten away, but close enough that lots of activities feel easily accessible. The house was clean and well stocked with everything needed to……

The owners are pleasant and provide snacks and refreshments for us upon arrival and were in contact with us about updates and made themselves available in case we had questions.
