Positive: Location, location, location! This property is fabulous for being near the heart of Old Town Albuquerque and all it has to offer.
The property was fabulous with the double hot tubs and fire pots, beautiful Southwestern landscaping and artistic details, and layout between casas.
Breakfast was everything a top rated hotel should be including both continental options and delicious made to order breakfast. I ordered the quesadilla twice!
Negative: Casa Rio Grande was way out of date, with electrical wiring limited to a single outlet usable for charging electronics and a charming claw-foot tub which couldn't overcome the inadequate shower nozzle and spray. A grab bar (maybe required?) would also be welcome for senior citizens.
Most unsettling of all was the discovery on the second day after arriving and presumably having had the room serviced twice, of a pair of men's briefs on the floor of the far side of the bed. Ick!
The price I paid for this casa was way out of line for my expectations; apparently some of the other units are updated and this one should be advertised as rustic!
While I would consider staying at Casas de Suenos again, I would definitely not stay in this casa.
