Our room was clean and comfortable, and the check-in staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. One of the main downsides, however, was that you aren't allowed to purchase alcoholic beverages and take them back to your room, to the pool, or anywhere else on the property. You can only drink within the designated bar areas, which may be a newer rule across all New Mexico casinos—I’m not entirely sure.
Another thing to note: this resort doesn’t offer room service. Housekeeping didn't come around until about 5:30 in the evening, and for the other two rooms we had booked, one wasn’t cleaned for two full days despite requesting service. We eventually had to call the front desk to get someone to come by.
On a positive note, I did get a massage at the spa, and it was truly wonderful. Kyle, the masseuse, was calm, sweet, and very professional. He really made the whole experience feel relaxing and therapeutic.
The pool and spa areas were nice, though very crowded—which, to be fair, was probably due to it being Memorial Day weekend.
Overall, I probably wouldn’t stay here again. The casino had a very sterile, almost boring vibe to it—just not much energy. If that’s your thing, Isleta might be a good fit. But if you’re looking for a resort with a more lively, upbeat atmosphere, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.
