Red Roof Inns are usually out go-to due to their well-known pet friendliness policy. However, this facility was disappointing. When we arrived, there was a long line at check-in and only one person to help. Later I saw the line persisted into late night.
We booked and pre-paid for a suite, but they didn't have one and we had to take a regular room.
The Wi-Fi they provided (contracted by Macrotech) never worked for any of our 4 devices, as the supposed redirected log-in page failed to load. The staff wasn't knowledgeable enough help, only saying "it works for everyone else."
There were other maintenance issues. There was a hole on the bathroom door that wasn't repaired, apparently for a while. The room's window had a wood stick propped shut, maybe because the latch was broken (we didn't bother to check). The ice machine on our floor was out of order the whole time, with water leaking, flooding the hallway.
All in all, it wasn't an experience we expected for the price we paid.
