“Vi havde et skønt ophold på 14 dage. Pool og terrasseområdet var lækker og med god plads til de 10 personer vi var afsted. Det levede helt op til vores forventninger. Vi blev modtaget rigtig godt af værten som gav en grundig introduktion til huset og området m.m. Under hele opholdet var værten meget hjælpsom og opmærksom på at vi havde det godt. Udsigten fra terrasse og pool var utrolig smuk.”

“Casa Holmes is in a lovely little village and is impeccably clean with a completely private fantastic large pool. Lots of thoughtful touches iwhich is in a little old authentic Spanish village house . Great aircon in all bedrooms! The only SLIGHT drawbacks are that the stairs are quite steep with the last two steps being higher than others - there is a baby gate but for tiny children maybe not totally suitable - there is a handrail however. “We stayed for ten nights and had a wonderful time. Six adults seven children and a dog. The location is stunning even more beautiful than the photographs. Air conditioning in most bedrooms and the interior rooms were cool despite 35+ temp outside. The owner was great, cleaned the pool every day before we got up and was available if we needed anything, which in the event we did not. A perfect location to relax, and also explore the surrounding area.”

“We were delayed arriving in Porto and the host waited for us to arrive even though it was past the check- in time. He had a very detailed.media presentation showing us the check- in process and places to visit in the area. He showed us each room in the house and explained the essentials. The people around Porto were very helpful despite not always understanding English.”

“This was a good stop while we were property hunting. Although the room was smaller than we expected, it was clean and comfortable. I loved the sofa! We hoped the restaurant would be open, but must be more for the busy season. We found old town and the architecture was wonderful, then a good walk up to the fortress. If you do nothing else, go to the fortress. They said to allow an hour and half but we were there for almost 3hrs!”
