“Go to bed at sunset, get up at sunrise. No noisy alarms, rest in your sleeping bag on top of the mattress, build a fire in the old cast-iron stove if needed, wave at your neighbor, but leave them alone. Great sky views, Perhaps especially at night. Zillions of stars come out. Highly recommended place for a solo retreat, as I took.”

“We loved everything about this sweet place. The yard and garden is so serene and peaceful. And the house is as cute as it could be. The location worked well for side trips to Abiquiú, the local wineries were fun visits, and all of the locals were friendly and warm. Highly recommend. ”

“Our stay here was perfect. The area, magical. Communication with the owner couldn’t be better - they are a true gem! The house offers privacy, is immaculately clean, has gorgeous light, is stocked with all the essentials and has the most wonderful patios with views. It offers peace and quiet, and bird watching right from the patio. It’s so dark at night that you can see the Milky Way. A nice break from light and noise pollution. There are nearby trails in the community where you can watch……

“It’s a pretty isolated property. Lots of peace and serenity. The kids did dogs and s’mores after building a campfire. If you have a Tesla this probably isn’t the best place. Taos does not have a supercharger and the closest one is in Sante Fe. Actually I would stay away from Taos all together if you have a Tesla. Other than that ( it’s not the property fault) the place was great. Had a neat hiking trail, fire pit, some neat art work in the typical New Mexico vibe. If you love nature this is a……
