“Absolutely loved staying here and would stay again! The view of the water is so calming- we looked for wildlife and saw a crane eating. We read in the nook overlooking the water. We walked along the beach. The place has pictures of the parents who had owned the home and gives it a sweet feel. Highly recommend!”

“This is a great place for a lot of bed space near the Skagit River Park sports complex. It doesn't have a ton of individual personality but many people may prefer that. We would have liked laundry and a few more blankets but other than that - a great stay. Nice bathrooms, very clean.”

“My mom was thrilled with the tiny house. She said it was clean, comfortable, well appointed with everything she needed, and loved there was a fire pit. She was worried about the self check-in (she is 80 & not used to that sort of thing), but had no problems. All she wanted for her birthday was a couple of days to hike, so that is what I got her and the location was perfect! Close enough to the state park as well as downtown Bellingham for a stroll and a coffee. Owner was great with communication……

“We stayed for a girls weekend and had a great time. The house backs up to the Whatcom Falls park and there is access via the backyard. The kitchen is nicely stocked with all the utensils you need. There is a regular drip coffee pot and a French Press, which was nice for those who drink decaf. ”

“At least in April, Lummi Island is remarkable for its silence. We heard birds, and an aircraft far away, and the occasional crinkly sound of the tires of slow moving “traffic.”One thing important for guests to note: The charming ferry can hold about 16 cars or one semi. Islanders leave in the morning 6-9-ish (I think to go to work, the sad souls) and return 4-6 ish. Those are busy ferry times. If you need to be someplace, get it the ferry line early. And please shut off your motor while……
