“This lovely 1870s home has been masterfully preserved and I was even able to hear quite a bit about the homes history which is so much fun! The house is spacious offering all the comforts necessary to really rest and relax but also 23 minutes from The shrine of the Grotto of the redemption if you're looking for adventure. The hosts were some of the kindest folks, most accommodating! ”

“I've traveled to Algona before and stayed in the hotels, which were nice, but this stay was my favorite so far. The home is close to everything in town. It has a very charming feel and very comfortable to hang out with family. The host is very proactive and helpful with anything you need. The house is well stocked. The bed was extremely comfortable. “Nice little place. The neighboorhood was quiet and nice. Keep in mind, we did not stay in peak season. The property is right across the street from the lake, public beach and park. I am sure during the summer this area is bussling with activity. Lovely area. The home was well maintained and clean. Enough amentities to make iur stay comfortable. We would stay here again.”
