I recently stayed at port anlicante and was extremely disappointed with the condition of our room. Upon arrival, I immediately noticed a strong musty smell, and after looking around, I found visible mould on the walls and ceiling.This was deeply concerning, especially as I was traveling with my baby.
Mould poses serious health risks, particularly for infants, and staying in such an environment was completely unacceptable. When we reported the issue to the staff, they did respond and offered us a free meal as compensation. While I appreciate the gesture, it did not address the actual problem or the serious health concerns of staying in a mould-infested room.
A hotel should prioritize cleanliness and guest well-being, but unfortunately, that was not the case here. If you are traveling with children or have any respiratory sensitivities, I strongly advise against booking this hotel unless they make significant improvements.
