“Kind staff clean room with a tiny kitchen,but the space is not big. location is not far from the port, and near the supermarket. One thing I want to complain is "hotel.come" sent our reservation 3 days ago before we got the hotel. That made us change room and move to the other hotel which belong to the landlord's relation. It made us live in separate hotel which made us really inconvenient, although the landlord solved this problem well. At least, we had place to sleep. So, it's better to……

“We had a wonderful stay. Konstantinos was very kind and helpful arranging for a taxi (at a good price when all were taken), suggesting things to do (a festival in Lefske, good swimming spots On the island). It was great to have a relaxing pool and a beach nearby as well as many restaurants within easy walking distance. Thanks so much! ”

“This was the best place we stayed on our whole island hopping trip. Not only was the hotel in a great location, but just the little details made all the difference. Recyclable toothbrushes and a sewing kit just when I needed to fix something. Extra pillows available in case you can’t sleep with one. Where other places give you the near minimum, the Almira Inn goes that extra mile. Breakfast was lovely too and Calypso the cat was difficult to say goodbye to. If we are ever back in Ios we will……

“Friendly staff although half way through check in went and dealt with others. Tea/coffee making facilities but no tea/coffee (very odd), just a shower gel and soap bar in the bathroom, no shampoo/conditioner. There was water in the fridge though and our beds were made each day. Offered a deal on car hire but when we went back it's like we made it up. All this said though when we thought our ferry was cancelled, they happily made calls to get answers. I honestly think we just got the end of……

“Although the pool area and villa itself were lovely, the location was very average and we had difficulties with the owner. He was intrusive and rude, to the point where we were made to feel very uncomfortable. Such a shame as our experience could have been very different otherwise. I would suggest he give guests more space and not be so overbearing in terms of how they use the property and their expectation's on the guests. Questions over the use of the pool and air-conditioning felt abrasive……
