“Charmamtes Hotel mit sehr netten Mitarbeitenden. Wir sind mit unserem kleinen Hund gereist und durften den Hund sogar zum Abendessen mitnehmen. Auf dem Menü gibt es auch ein vegetarisches Gericht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und die antike Atmosphäre ist großartig. Klasse Ausblick. Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen!”

“The hotel did not change the bed sheet before we checked in. We had to ask for new bed sheets. There was no light bulb on one of the light fixture. There were extension cords in the room for the light fixtures. Overall, I am not satisfied with the hotel accommodation for the price I paid”

“We stopped in Geilo because of the way back to Oslo from Bergen. We knew nothing before arrival but we finally knew that it’s the great place for skiing. After our arrival, we checked in at 7 or 8 pm but the staff still told us the necessary information. The room is spacious but the interior of the ground and underground are in progress of renovation. “The property is under construction so hard to get luggage through the gravel down the hill to the suites. Large construction vehicles driving around. Very limited communication, we never got an email (despite it saying we would) about how to check in and just kind of found the kiosk and process ourselves. We were missing a hair dryer in the room and tried calling and messaging the property and didn’t hear back for about 16 hours. Everything was clean in the suite and we enjoyed the space itself,……

“We very much enjoyed our stay at Dr Holmes Hotel. This is an older hotel with interesting styles of decor. There are also many historic paintings and artifacts. The staff were all helpful and friendly. Our dinner was excellent and we would certainly return.”

“Hytten var helt nydelig, vi ble så positivt overrasket. Minus for lav takhøyde på øverste soverommene (drar med ca 10 dunk i hodet, men er man mindre klumsete så tror jeg det går bra!)og at ene toalettet knapt kunne trekke ned litt papir (heldigvis var det to og det andre fungerte utmerket!). Alt i alt super fornøyd!”
