“Management were nice, room really needs some t&c”

“The room we stayed in was tidy and clean. It had a fridge, microwave and kettle which is very convenient especially if you’re doing road trips. They also offer some breakfast items at the reception before you need to go to room which again very convenient. ”

“Although the room was small it was laid out well but no space for putting your bag if 3 people stayed. Only room for the 2 chairs around the small table but table and 2 chairs provided in the small space outside. No room for large vehicles. Exit locked so only easy exit to use is the Entrance onto a busy road which has traffic lights.”

“The room its self was ok, bed was comfortable but there are things to be aware of. Hotel is from 1901 and not totally renovated yet, rooms are up stairs which are original. Doors are half doors, again original but I’m big had to remove back pack to enter. Biggest bath is NOT attached, it’s yours with a key but it’s across the hall so you need to dress to use it. It also closes sort of early, I just barely got in at 9:30.”

“Overall is good, staff was helpful, I had a room too close to the road and can hear the trucks drive by, should ask for a room further in the back”

“Great rest stop after being on road for 8hrs. Not far from fast food. The only problem is you have parking for cars with trailers and someone blocks you from getting out. Plenty of parking for cars so dont park in trailer/bus parking ”

“Location was ideal for us. Property is currently being renovated so a couple of things needed attending to. However the property itself is neat and tidy.! Restaurant currently not open due to renovations. Staff were very obliging and friendly.”

“Staff was excellent as I was about to leave my glasses sort of popped and I needed a screw driver badly, owner hunted for a bit but found the tool I needed to fix it, saved me at least an hour finding an eye place to do it, thanks 😊”

“Lovely hotel. Usually a dog friendly room is the worse room, but we have no choice. Here, it was a beautiful room, renovated and clean and very spacious. Best dog friendly room we have stayed in. Thank you for treating us as responsible pet owners. We dont take rooms that allow pets for granted, we know it’s a privilege but we also pay a premium for these rooms. At last a hotel where the premium was worth it. ”
