“We had a fantastic stay at the Gamekeeper’s Lodge. It was beautifully set out with lots of whimsical touches in every corner. Very comfortable bed and we loved the fireplace which had timber ready to light. Very good quality Aeosop bath products which created a feel of luxury. Convenient location to The Polish Place and not far from the IGA. Mark was very patient and helpful. Thanks for your hospitality. Loved the surrounding garden and Guinea fowl.”

“This was perfect for our group of friends looking for somewhere to affordably stay near ipswich, Coen was suuuuuuper communicative and helpful even offering an extra mattress to make us more comfortable. Had a lovely outdoor spot to relax in and the place had everything we needed to live in for a week. Love the suburban area. Would definitely stay here again. ”

“Fantastic stay. Great location - easy walking distance to restaurants, cafes, a winery and some rainforest walks. Owner was very friendly and we were lucky enough that they could accommodate an early check in for us. Highly recommend the Blue Wren cottage. It was at the back of the property with a private verandah and the cottage had everything we needed.”

The house sleeps upto 15 people but you couldn't cook or reheat a meal for that many people despite the kitchen being large and having a 900mm induction cooktop. All cookware but 2 frypans were not suitable for induction and they were small. “I stayed here with my husband and toy cavoodles while we evacuated our flood prone house and waited out Cyclone Alfred. Steve was amazing at helping out and accommodating our needs and his communication was fast and excellent. The house was super clean, comfortable and safe. It held up very well and met all our needs.
