Discover this delightful 3-bedroom gem in Allenwood. This cozy cabin features 3 queen beds and 1 bunk bed, perfect for a larger family or groups of friends. With heating to keep you warm and a washing machine for convenience, this charming retreat offers everything you need for a fabulous getaway. A great place to call homebase while you're away. While we currently are not part of the electric grid, our interest, and application of green technology while providing the most up to date amenities combines simplicity, yet comfort. Water is natural spring. Located on a secluded road with minimal traffic, there is not a bad view. Book time at our bird hunting preserve located closely, as well as a shooting range "down the road" for those who want to sharpen their skills for bow hunting. Multiple game lands roads host miles and miles of "lost traveling". Book a carriage ride and enjoy true country scenery. Antiquing, and local shopping can broaden your visit. No Wi-Fi so bring your own personal hotspot to keep in touch with your world.

I think it would be important for future potential guests to know that the lights are battery powered and the A/C runs on a generator. There is a cold refrigerator and a gas stove and gas grill available. The scenery is absolutely stunning and the owner is very kind and helpful. If you’re looking to unplug a little, this place is great! They even have a battery powered phone charger! I know some people may be turned off by the lack of tv and WiFi, but for people who like a more off grid type experience, it’s perfect! There is a Hunting Lodge right next to it so a bunch of hunters looking to get away would love this place!

If you don't need electricity, this is the place to stay. There is one generator running 1 main room window a/c, battery powered lamps, and battery powered washing machine. The "dryer" is a basket with clothes pins and a line out back. Very rustic. No TV, microwave, coffee pot or any other modern amenities. Bring your own candles and matches in case your lamp batteries run out as ours did. Don't plan on charging any phones unless you request a singular extension cord to be brought in from the generator through the window. I truly hope this rental house gets electricity connected for the family wanting to stay here.
Our singular provided charging area. Zero in house outlets had electricity.

Beautiful wet setting. No button to turn off the rain.

Definitely a picturesque, remote setting. Enjoyed experiencing an Amish way of living. Being "off the grid" was a good experience.
