“The cottage was spacious and great for four friends staying together for a week of walking in Co Cork. All the needs that are required ie. towels, sheets, kitchen utensils etc, were there. The kitchen was fully supplied with dishwasher tablets and a washing machine working perfectly. It's a 10 min drive from Castletownbere so no walking to the nearest pub/restaurant. A taxi ride to go into town. A beautiful location and a lovely spot to have time away from it all. I'd definitely go back ”

“⸻We absolutely loved our stay in the stunning Castlecove area, just a short walk from the beautiful White Strand Beach. The views from John’s house are simply breathtaking, and both John and Louise were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish.We especially enjoyed the seaweed baths in Sneem—perfect for a rainy day! And don’t miss the Mexican food truck across from The Black Shop pub—it’s definitely worth a visit.”

“What a magnificent home! We loved staying here. The home is exactly as described in the listing. The view of Kenmare Bay right on the water was lovely and it was fantastic to be in a quiet setting with the just the sounds of the waves, the breeze, and at times the rain.. The home is in excellent condition. And it is a great location for day trips to some Irelands most enchanting locations. We look forward to returning!”

“Lake House is a beautiful property in an idyllic location. Close enough to the village for essentials but beautiful and quiet. The kids had a great time in the gardens as did our family dog. “ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC STAY!!!!Damien and Niamh were extremely friendly and helpful from the beginning of the booking till the end of our stay. They sent us a digital check-in guide with a ton of information. “Come for the views, stay for the peace and quiet. If you're looking for the "Irish farm house feel" this is the one! Nestled deep in the countryside on a hill overlooking where Atlantic ocean meets ths Kenmare river. Walking into the house made feel like I was at my Grandparents home (in idaho). We loved it. Would move here in a heartbeat We thouroghly enjoyed "Nan’s hotel". We are already planning a return visit.”
