The owner was so kind and thoughtful. While we did walk the property and found hidden spots to enjoy, it was difficult to leave the cabin and the charming front porch. The musical spring/creek lulled us with its peacefulness. We happily look forward to our next stay.”

“This cabin was the perfect size for our family of four. We were in town for the New River Trail races (I ran the 50k) and we enjoyed the map of the trail on the dining table. The kitchen was stocked and the snacks and K cups were appreciated. There is a trail down to the river (not for those with limited mobility) and it was a fun adventure finding the markers in the trees. The property manager was excellent and helped turn on the fireplace, which was my favorite feature since we were……

“This cabin in the lake is a gem. It’s everything you need and super well equipped and organized. The owner was very responsive. It’s a beauty on the lake with a private dock, a beautiful back porch overlooking the lake, a picnic/grill area with table and chairs also overlooking the lake. It was 25 minutes from Tech, so very convenient. ”

“It was quiet and secluded, and gave my girlfriend and I a chance to unplug from our day to day lives in the city. The place was clean and orderly. Close by was the New River trial which we took advantage of. There isn’t any negative things I can say other than the flood lights were a little too sensitive and were going off all night. Which could be because of our deer friends or just a branch in the wind. The drive up the hill was fun because I have a Jeep and off-roading is its thing. Overall I……
